Progress!

Work at the garden has been moving along nicely!

The past couple weeks have been great in making progress.

We now have all the plant beds filled with soil compost mixture prepared and kindly delivered from City Farmers Nursery, purchased a wheelbarrow, plenty of tools, gloves, started on the irrigation, and the rest along with fencing is looking to be finished this week.

Our goal is still to have the majority of work done by this Friday, September 10th so we will really be moving out there!

Some tasks we still have to complete are:

1. Mulching the pathways
2. Finishing the irrigation, extending lines out to the trees that we will plant
3. Putting up the fencing
4. Making gates
5. Purchasing and building the wheelchair accessible plant bed
6. Purchasing and installing the tool shed
7. Putting in signage
8. Putting in some seating, mulching that area
9. PLANTING!
--succulents
--natives
--perennials
--"potpourri path"
--passionfruit, vines on fencing
--cover crops

Garden on!
